Apr. 17, 2006

As American companies cannot sell in America with pricing power and ask for Indian IT companies to lower price, the IT companies like Infosys, TCS now starts looking at China, Africa and other even lower wage countries.

India now faces the same trick it played with Western nation through currency manipulation and unfair advantages from China - India too costly, Infosys looks at China. China is far superior as currency manipulator and unfair trade practitioner than India.

According to media reports, Infosys technologies said it's looking at China to recruit more engineers, seeking to beat rising wages at home.

“We want to have an alternate location to India for recruitment as there is a challenging environment in India,” co-founder and deputy managing director Kris Gopalakrishnan said.

“India's recruitment market is ‘definitely hot,” he said. Infosys plans to double the number of workers in China to 1,000 this year.

Infosys, which expects to hire a gross of 25,000 employees in India this year, plans to secure contracts from companies that are in the fortune 500 lists.
