Actor Saif Ali Khan, riding a wave of Bollywood success and keen on ending his frivolous ways after his divorce last year, says he and his mother agree that he should marry his Italian girlfriend, a news report said Friday.

Khan is one of the most popular actors in Bollywood, the world's most watched movie industry.

The son of former Indian cricket captain Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi and former film superstar Sharmila Tagore, Khan worked for many years in Bollywood with limited success, before shooting to prominence with major hits like "Dil Chahta Hai" (What the Heart Wants), "Parineeta" (The Wife), "Hum Tum" (Me and You) and "Salaam Namaste" (Hello, Hello).

Khan separated last year from his wife, fellow Bollywood actress Amrita Singh, after 14-years of marriage, and has since started dating Italian national Rosa Catalano.
