India beats England in ODI again - Suresh Raina and Mahendra Dhoni do the job
Ajit Parker
Mar. 31, 2006
India wins the ODI by 4 wickets. Suresh Raina and Mahendra Dhoni were unstoppable as slow blowlers kept England batmen on defensive.
According to media reports, the Powar-packed India attack that sent England crashing to 226 all out, It was the turn of the Nawab of Najafgarh and his understudy Gautam Gambhir to pack the Poms to all parts of the stadium.
The duo battled back ghosts of recent failures to take the England seam attack by the scruff of its neck and score at will.
They rushed to a 54-run partnership in great time (just 72 balls) and ensured India was on a victory march from the word go.
