China is planning to shift its resources from industrial outsourcing of the Western nations to the countryside to close the gap between China's rich and poor.
The Chinese politicians are planning to use American, European and Japanese resources obtained from producing cheap products and exporting the same to enhance the life of the poor Chinese people.
Unlike in India, the Chinese oligarchs live in low profile. No one is sure if China really plans to help its poor people. Some believe, 1000 Chinese oligarchs spread into communist party, the Government and the Military, control China. These people and their families live in extreme luxury.
According to media reports, in an address to the National People's Congress on March 5, Chinese Premier Wen Jibao vowed to close the gap between China's rich and poor by building a "new socialist countryside." He pledged $42 billion to improve the agricultural sector and to help rural services during 2006.
