Russian President Putin and Indian Prime Minsiter talk on bilateral cooperation in the atomic energy sector and problems of nonproliferation

India and Russia wanted to reaffirm their age old good realtions after landmark historic visit of US President George Bush in New Delhi.

India wants a good relation with US, China and Russia.

The telephone conversation between Putin and the Indian prime minister took place on Saturday [4 March] at the suggestion of the Indian side.

India reconfirmed its affiliation to Russian technologies and international political views.
