In the middle of severe aftershocks Indian military performs heroic rescue and relief operation in world’s most impenetrable terrains

In 1999 they did it to save mother India from foreign aggressors. This time Indian Army is doing it to save the Indian citizens in Kashmir. They are proving again to the world that Indian military is world’s best and is not afraid to protect lives form natural calamities or foreign aggressors.
The Jawans (soldiers) are going with aid and relief work that is almost impossible to approach from main cities due to broken bridges, roads and cracked surface of the earth. The helicopters are flying in relief materials. Indian Air Force is helping reach remotest part of the terrain impossible to approach by land.
All this is happening in the middle of severe aftershocks jolting the crust of the earth in the area.
A chain of low intensity aftershocks continued and the frequency would gradually decreasing.
The tremors, which had an unsettling, effect on people, forcing them to spend nights outside their houses.
The biggest aftershocks occurred on Sunday and measured 5.3 on the Richter scale.
