Interestingly, the BCCI does nothing! It is time for BCCI to get completely reorganized and reengineered. BCCI in effect asked the coach and the captain to stop fighting. Saurav and Greg decided to work together.
But Indian Cricket is permanently damaged due to the soap opera drama that went on due to inaction, email leaks by members of the BCCI board.
Team India coach Greg Chappell and captain Sourav Ganguly have been told by the BCCI committee to end their damaging row and focus on the team's progress.
"The committee was of the view that cricket is to go forward," BCCI president Ranbir Mahendra said after a special meeting on Tuesday to review the crisis.
"Both coach and captain have to work as a unit and a professional working relationship is to be maintained," he said.
The rift between the pair became public on the recent Zimbabwe tour when Ganguly told the media Chappell had suggested before the Test series that he should step down in favour of an in-form batsman.
