India ready to work side by side with democratic Afghanistan and fight Taliban if needed

India indicated that it is ready to support new democratic Afghanistan and fight Taliban terrorism as needed.
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Aug. 29 offered a further $50 million in reconstruction aid to Afghanistan to ensure it never again becomes a center of terrorism. Singh was speaking at a ceremony in Kabul to unveil the foundation stone for a new Afghan Parliament building, which is being constructed with assistance from New Delhi.
