India’s long range ICBMs with ranges above 12,000 Km or 7,452 miles puts world on notice

India will develop an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) with range capabilities from 5,589 miles to 7,452 miles, the Khaleej Times reported Aug. 26, citing Defense Ministry sources. The ICBM launch weight would range from 270 tons to 275 tons and have an impart error of 1.2 miles to 1.7 miles. It could have a releasable front of 4.4 pounds to 6.6 pounds, with each of its two or three warheads weighing 15 to 20 kilotons.
