India's crude oil output fell 4 pct year-on-year in July – Can India pay for its oil and keep the outsourcing market grow?

India’s oil, gas and energy shortage is reaching critical stage when the growth of the country may be hampered. The million dollar question is - as India struggles to keep the lights on and cars running, what is the impact on quality, reliability and timely delivery of outsourced project?
According to experts, it will suffer but no one knows by how much!
India's crude oil output fell 4 pct year-on-year in July to 2.75 mln tonnes following the devastating fire at an oil platform belonging to ONGC off the Bombay coast during the month, Press Trust of India reported, citing petroleum ministry data.
Output from Bombay offshore region in July was down 6.4 pct from a year earlier at 1.44 mln tonnes, it said.
During the April-July period, crude output fell 1.5 pct to 11.174 mln tonnes from 11.347 mln tonnes in the corresponding period last year.
