Senior aide to Al-Qaeda leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, identified as Abu Zubai, shot dead in Iraq but the problem is more are recruited than killed every day
The biggest problem with Al-Queda is many more are recruited everyday than killed. For example, A senior aide to Al-Qaeda in Iraq leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, identified as Abu Zubai, was shot dead by Iraqi security forces in the northern city of Mosul, the British Broadcasting Corp. said Aug. 15, citing unnamed U.S. officials. But at the same time hundreds are being recruited every day especially in India and Western nations.
Al-Queda’s main goal is to disrupt non-Islamic countries through terrorism by recruiting local people in that country who cannot be identified as having Middle Eastern origin so easily.
They are recruiting young people born and brought up in India, UK, US, Canada,, Australia and so on in the prisons, college campuses and even from night clubs. They inject a culture of following Al-Quefda in the minds of young people. They “fish” among the churches, shopping centers networking at the grass root level and brain wash these kids or young people thoroughly.
Imagine people who have been born and brought up in the free and open environment of UK have been brainwashed to commit suicide in 7/7 bombing.
The free countries have to find a way to fight Al-Queda. Iraq war has not helped. It has just given them another excuse for recruiting more. It is like cancer, you just cannot get rid of it by killing the affected cell. You need preventive measures. Bush Administration have realized that lately. So did India’s current Government. The moderate Islamic population have to brought into the mainstream. They mist be given the sense of importance in the fight against Al-Queda. That is a right strategy. People who support Al-Queda from outside need to be reached to expose Al-Queda outright.
