Iran and oil rich Nigeria is planning close military collaboration.

An Iranian military delegation is in Nigeria for a five-day visit, Nigerian military spokesmen and an Iranian diplomat said Aug. 11. This visit follows a recent trip to Iran by Nigeria's defense minister, and a Nigerian military delegation is expected to visit Iran shortly. The two countries reportedly plan to sign a military cooperation agreement relating to weaponry and artillery equipment.

International think tanks believe they are grouping together to encounter the Western nations.
