Is Bush going to face a popular uprising in America against his Iraq war policy – mom who lost son in war starts picketing near Bush's vacation home in Texas

President Bush for the first time is facing grass root level up rise in America against his war policies in Iraq. A mother who lost her son in Iraq war plans to picket near Bush's vacation home in Texas to ask President what was the need for loss of American lives in Iraq. Sources from texas say, many other families are planning to join her in challenging Bush. At this moment 61% Americans do not support the Iraq war.

Bush still enjoys a large support from Americans especially the Republicans on the Iraq war. But growing discontent and suspicion on war can plague America in coming days. Americans are also very concerned about these protests since these undermine the efforts of American soldiers in Iraq and provides an artificial boost to Iraqi insurgents. After all America is in war in Iraq.

The biggest challenge for Bush in coming weeks and months is in facing these families and common people of America who have lost loved ones. The war is perceived as a war of rich being fought by the poor. America is torn between two sides. One is of course patriotism that calls for full support to the American military. The other is the newly established class war within America where rich have enjoyed tax cuts and the poor is fighting the war.

Bush still is one of the most popular Presidents in US. He is regarded as the best person to fight war against terror not only in America but also in many other parts of the world including India. One thing Bush may like to do is to put extra priorities in finding and neutralizing Osama Bin Laden. This can be done by a coordinated effort between India, America and Pakistan. Even China and Russia can help in that effort. The other thing Mr., Bush can do is to slowly pull troops out of Iraq and replace them with UN troops till Iraqis can take care of themselves.

America in recent days has taken extremely smart decisions to mingle diplomacy with force in Iraq. Silently Americans have established dialogs with the Sunnis and even former Baathists. This is producing positive results. American people must be informed of what Bush Administration have finally done good and smart in Iraq. These efforts are working to create an environment in which the war can come to an end, which will be good for all! However, the grass root level confrontation in America on this at this time can be detrimental for the closure on the war. President Bush has the responsibility to handle these protests in a very shrewd but compassionate way!
