UK and US assures Pakistan there is no planned joint Air Force exercise with India in Kashmir yet but the strategic relations between US-UK-India hangs over Pakistan

Contrary to what Indian Air Chief had hinted recently, US and UK rushed to calm Pakistan over media reports that India, US and UK will jointly carry on Air Force exercises in Kashmir.

The United States and Britain have denied reports that joint air exercises with India are planned for later this year and early in 2006 over Indian-controlled Kashmir, a Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesman said Aug. 9.

This for the time being calms Pakistan down. But Pakistan cannot stop the natural clustering of US, UK and India around its shoulder looking for terrorist activities in Pakistan. Recent agreements with India and US clearly shows warming relations and future strategic cooperation.

Pakistan sees this as strategic threat. While US uses the warm relation with India to keep Pakistan on its toe as far as catching Al-Queda operatives are concerned, India uses the same to keep China on its toe.
