Is Musharraf kidding – he says Pakistan has no Al-Queda left!
According to Musharraf, President of Pakistan, there is no Al-Queda left in Pakistan. While Pakistan has taken some very strong measures to route Al-Queda out, it is too premature to say Al-Queda is completely routed out from Pakistan. It may be the intention of certain quarters in Pakistan but Al-Queda’s capital is Pakistan and will remain so no matter what any one say. The nine-eleven terrorism, most Jihadi terror acts in India, Egypt terrorism and London bombings all have their roots in Pakistan.
Speaking in the Pakistani city of Lahore on July 25, President Gen. Pervez Musharraf said "al Qaeda does not exist in Pakistan anymore." He disputed reports of evidence that nine Pakistanis sought by Egypt in connection with the July 22 bombings in Sharm el-Sheikh were involved with terrorism.
Musharraf as a matter of fact is really worried about Pkaistan’s nukes and international pressures to safeguard them from the Islamic Jihadists and Al-Queda in case his Government is toppled by a coup and Al-Queda takes over Pakistan.
