North Korea is slowly getting indication from the Chinese that it has to destroy its nuclear arsenal and work for peace. The six-nation coalition is ready to reward the North Koreans heavily for that. The incentive of gain is heavier than what it can ever gain out of those nukes. After all North Korean nuke tippes missiles were for the purpose of negotiations only.

Japan will give energy aid to North Korea if substantial progress is made in six-party talks over Pyongyang's nuclear weapons program, Japan's Kyodo news agency reported July 23, citing Japanese government sources. The proposal is believed to involve fuel oil contributions to North Korea that would need to be made while South Korea constructs the infrastructure to provide the North with 2 million kilowatts in power supplies.
