Pakistan frustrated over Al-Queda capital of the world - North Waziristan agency of the Federally Administered Tribal Area of Pakistan
It is embarrassing to say the least to know that Al-Queda capital and operational center lies in one’s own country specially after the London Bombing c carried out by Pakistani-British citizens.
Pakistani tribes in North Waziristan agency of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas along the country’s northwestern border with Afghanistan have 24 hours to hand over foreign militants, including al Qaeda fighters, Pakistani Maj. Gen. Akram Sahi said July 14. Speaking to tribal leaders in Miranshah, Sahi said peaceful foreigners would not be harmed in the pending operation to root out Islamist fighters, but that any resistance would be dealt with firmly.
Can Pakistan really get rid of Al-Queda in the tribal areas? The answer lies with Pakistani people and not the Army. The sympathy for Al-Queda un Pakistan is high. Pakistani Army cannot so easily flush out the foreign terrorists so easily – people and local establishments can by stopping necessary supplies from the east.
Pakistan now is real frustrated. Their official enemy is entrenched in one of their remote provinces where they have little control. The landscape is such that extering military control there is tough and expensive.
