Islamic Jihadists attack Ayodhya – the essence of Hindu dignity Ram Janmabhoomi premises- Government admits security lapse
Six Islamic Jihadists (LeT) got into Ram Janmabhoomi premises in Ayodhya and started rampaging with indiscriminate firing, hand grenades and more.
The CRPF Jawans fought for more than two hours to overcome them.
Heavy exchange of fire with security forces followed and some of the attackers were killed and some captured, police sources said. It is believed now that clear security breaches caused the security failure.
An Ambassador car at 9 AM in the morning tried to enter the security cordon and were challenged by the second level security forces. The car somehow passed the first level of security.
Some local people are saying that Islamic Jihadist moles in the Indian security forces in Ayodhya were used by the Jihadists to break into the Ram Janmabhoomi premises. Police claims all five militants were killed, local Hindus do not agree - they smell conspiracy and claim some escaped and some were waiting outside to join the first batch of Jihadists.
It is also believed that the firing is still continuing in the adjoining areas and some Jihadists have escaped. First report from the police mentioned that four Jihadists were present. But now the reports are coming many more were present - at least five and the attack was well coordinated to break the Hindu religious backbone.
Police have cordoned off the whole area especially the highway from Faziabad where the militants came from.
The attacker's car was nabbed with the driver. According to local people in the scene the attack was well coordinated. The security forces were confused in the beginning but later fought hard to overcome the Jihadists.
