Britney Spears is set to pose naked for Vanity Fair magazine.

The US glossy hopes to shoot the 23-year-old superstar in her seventh month of pregnancy to time its release before she gives birth to her first child some time in autumn, reports Life & Style magazine.

According to a source: "The negotiations are in motion. Britney Spears desperately wants to do it and knows she has to stay in good shape."

The source also added, "Britney loves being pregnant," and "she loves her new body".

The magazine was famous for having Demi Moore pose naked on its cover in 1991.
