Iran election rigged?

The moderate Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, the losing candidate in the June 24 Iranian runoff presidential election, said "all the means of the regime were used in an organized and illegal way to intervene in the election." He added that tens of millions of dollars "of the people's money" had been spent to defame him and his family, though he did not plan to file a complaint regarding the allegations because the judges have shown they cannot or will not take any action.
The hardliner win in the election has raised doubt over the validity of the Iranian election.
