Advani survived but lost all respect of any Hindu who has any self respect left
Advani is a sad story. So is Vajpayee! These are oldies of India who have used Hindutva to come to power and then tried to become international figures by abusing the same Hindutva!
Advani is back in BJP but BJP is not back among Hindus who have any self-respect left. He should have resigned giving way for younger people in the party to take over.
According to PTI, back to work a day after he withdrew his resignation, BJP president L K Advani on Saturday described his controversial Pakistan visit and the subsequent crisis that engulfed the party as an "extraordinary and unexpected" experience that taught him a lot in life.
"All the time people keep learning and some experiences are extraordinary and unexpected. I have had such an experience in the last 15 days", he said addressing party's central office bearers and heads of its different morchas (front organisations) at the party headquarters where he arrived to a tumultuous welcome by party workers.
"I learnt a lot in life during my visit to Pakistan and after my return in the past four days. I hope that what I learnt would prove useful in the discharge of my responsibilities in future", party spokesperson Sushma Swaraj quoted him as saying.
