It is better to have something than nothing. The Group of Four (G-4) countries consisting of Brazil, Germany, India, and Japan that are seeking permanent seats on the U.N. Security Council proposed a 15-year hold on the consideration of veto powers for new permanent members of the council, diplomats said June 8. France said it was willing to cosponsor the G-4 proposal.
Should India really join this bandwagon of second class now first class may be later attitude. Diplomatic mind says accept what you get and then fight later for better.
