As America and China pull India – India must decide to choose America
Sudhir Chadda
Jun. 4, 2005

India cannot and should not forget Chinese betrayal of 1962. It was United States that helped India that time. As part of free world and the largest democracy in the world India must not collaborate with Communist China where human rights is almost nonexistent.

India cannot forget the Tibet and Dalai Lama - the essence of spirituality.

India cannot again fall into the Chinese trap of 1962.

China will use its veto power to defeat a draft resolution proposed by Brazil, Germany, India and Japan to expand the U.N. Security Council should this resolution come up for a vote, China's permanent representative to the United Nations, Wang Guangya, said June 2. Wang's statement allows China room to uphold its commitment not to obstruct permanent Indian membership on the Security Council and to continue building the new Sino-Indian friendship while it uses other methods to ensure Japan does not get a seat.

But what Donald Rumsfeld said is the right statement. India will be large power because of its democracy and free society.

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Sigh’s visit to US will open a new window to US-India relationships.

India and America can jointly become the champions of the free world.
