Some US stocks showing good value but the key is the bond market performance
Some technology stocks as showing signs of life. But what surprised all is the long bond yields. It can really cause some sensation in the financial markets. With Fed increasing interest rates, bond yield were supposed to go to 5% but instead it went towards 3.75%.
Stocks may accelerate upwards if Fed decides to half the rates here for the time being. Energy services companies and companies dealing with natural gas are showing signs of upward acceleration. The crude oil market is at a critical juncture. Either it will go up through the roof or it will collapse. The supply seems to be adequate for now but no one knows how much demand really exist in China and India – the wild cards.
US Live Cattle may be neutral for now. We have decided to go to the sideline on that one.
