Former speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan Gohar Ayub Khan reveals clues to Pakistan’s clandestine network within Indian Military
Indian media is upbeat on a story from Pakistan that an India Army Brigadier sold for Rs. 20,000 India’s complete war plan to Pakistan in 1965. The story is coming from former speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan Gohar Ayub Khan who is also the son of Pakistani General Ayub Khan. Like Nusharraf now, Pakistani General Ayub Khan was the dictator of Pakistan in 1965.
International political think tanks believe that this is just an attempt by Gohar Ayub Khan to make some money through a new book he is writing. However, not everything he is saying is false. There were no grand plans that a Brigadier of Indian Army can sell. But Gohar Ayub Khan provided a lot of clues to Pakistan’s clandestine network within Indian Military even today.
The weakness of the brigadier's wife was exploited by Pakistani agents in Delhi to compromise her husband — whose identity Gohar Ayub didn’t disclose but promised to give enough hints in his autobiography. (Now 68, Gohar Ayub claimed the disclosures would be a "bombshell" for the Indian Army.)
Pakistan has tried to watch and take advantage of senior Indian Military personnel in India by influencing their spouses and family in general. The clandestine operations surrounding Indian Army. Air Force and Navy is widespread. Indian counter intelligence foils most of the Pakistani attempts. But India’s biggest disadvantage is the fact that there is huge diverse population in India of various. Ethnicity and Religions.
Pakistan diverts a huge amount of money that it receives from Western countries as aids to buy out Indian Military secrets from Indian Military personnel.
They probably never got anything like a grand plan of Indian attack because it never exited. But they have buying brigade and squadron level plans and sabotage at those levels for a long time.
What Gohar Ayub Khan reveled is the fact that Pakistani military dictators are reciveing enormous amount of Western aid fgor whatever reasons and they are using that money to influence, corrupt and manipulate India’s military.
The west has to think many times before they decide to provide blanket aid to a country like Pakistan.
