In an exclusive interview to the Bloomberg Professional Services, US Secretary of State Condi Rice said “India is a great friend and a strategic emerging major power:” For the first time America ranked India equally if not higher as a more critical strategic partner than China.

She was extremely ecstatic about India’s great achievement in economics and the multiparty democracy. India is an emerging power with great achievements and great potential, she said.

India and American friendship and partnering in many areas are on a major upswing especially under the Bush Administration.

General Electric, America’s most successful and largest company wants to make India the manufacturing hub – a clear win for India over China.

Global strategic think tanks believe that India is gaining heavily on China in terms of partnership with the West. Major US Corporations are eager to partner with India.
