May 23, 2005

It may be Al-Queda propaganda. Al Qaeda in Iraq said on May 22 through an insurgent Web site that it had captured and executed a U.S. pilot. His name was read as "Neenus Khoshaba" and what were said to be his identification papers were displayed on the site. The U.S. command said that in the last 24 hours no U.S. airplane was downed nor was any U.S. pilot reported missing.
