Hot lip locked eye-catching kisses – Bollywood bombshells try to oblige the new requirements
It is the trend. It is the new requirement in Bollywood. Hot real lip locked smooches – you cannot say no to it. It is now part of Bollywood life – take it or leave it.
But still there is a lot of hoopla around it. According to some Internet sites, despite the kiss in Chahat Ek Nasha, actress Preeti Jhangiani says she doesn’t want to compete with Mallika Sherawat. In fact she claims to have refused Jackie Chan's film because of a bathroom scene.
Chahat Ek Nasha made news more for your kisses than anything else. Any regrets now that you too have been labelled a sex symbol?
Not at all. I don’t have any problem doing kissing scenes in the future as well but I am certainly concerned about the relevance of my kiss. As long as it is relevant in the film, I have no problems. I think the kiss was very much relevant in Chahat Ek Nasha and I enjoyed that.
So are you here to challenge Mallika Sherawat? I am sorry to say that I can’t become Mallika Sherawat because I have certain limitations when I am exposing. Although I have done some steamy scenes, nowhere have I crossed my limits. I can’t wear bikini and I can’t give 17 kisses.
Had you been offered Mallika's role in Murder, what would you have done? I have watched Murder and it's a fantastic film if certain shots are deleted. I would have loved to do the film on the condition that some of the scenes are removed.
Is it true that Jackie Chan asked you to work with him in The Myth? Mr Chan told me that I would have to do a bathroom shot in which I am wearing a towel. I had to slowly remove the towel and get nude. It was a bathroom sequence and very uncomfortable for a girl like me.
