Japan, Germany, India and Brazil united in their resolve to become permanent members of UN Security Council

The four nations will formally propose the change in the composition of the UN Security Council. According media sources, Japan, Germany, Brazil and India will propose changes to the U.N. Security Council, Japanese Foreign Minister Nobutaka Machimura said May 16. The proposed changes include adding four permanent members and six non-permanent members to the council.
