Islamic militant groups inciting common people to up rise – Uzbekistan burning with unbelievable bloodshed
It may be the tactics of the Islamic militants all over the world now. Popular uprising against all anti-Islam establishments are taking shape all over the world. Uzbekistan saw the worst of all and it may result in the fall of the Government there.
Protesters in the Uzbek town of Karasu in the Andijon region along the border with Kyrgyzstan set fire to a police building, regional administration building and the tax inspector's office May 14 according to witnesses cited by Russia's RIA Novosti news service. The witnesses say a large group of townspeople have taken captive the head of the Kurban-Tubinsk district of the Andijon region, who reportedly had tried to negotiate with them and are holding a meeting in the town's center. The residents now say they expect Uzbek security forces to storm the town within the coming hours.
Reports coming from Uzbekistan point to horrific crack down. About 300 corpses, including many women, were carried out from Andijan in trucks and a bus early on Saturday following a violent security crackdown, a member of the Apelyatsiya human rights group said he had witnessed.
"This morning I saw soldiers loading 300 bodies into three trucks and a bus in the street opposite the cinema," Lutfula Shamsutdinov said by telephone from the eastern Uzbek city. "Among the bodies were many women."
Shamsutdinov said he had watched from a house without being noticed.
Uzbek President Islam Karimov said in a May 14 press conference that radical Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir was behind the violence in Andijon that led the government to fire on protesters and rebels, which the group denies. Karimov said no order to fire was given and said that 10 police and soldiers were killed and another 100 wounded. Observers in Andijon estimate that government forces killed anywhere from dozens to 300 individuals. The government ordered foreign journalists to leave the city May 14, saying it could not vouch for their safety.
