No one knows were the rumor started from or if it is true! But the world was not peaceful in the Middle East and Asia. This can turn out ugly for the whole world.

At least nine people died in Afghanistan May 13 from unrest caused by protesters demonstrating against the alleged desecration of the Koran by U.S. interrogators at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Large-scale protests have also taken place in Pakistan, Indonesia and Gaza.

About 1,500 Gazans protested the alleged desecration of the Koran at the U.S. prison camp in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in a May 13 march organized by Hamas. The demonstrations took place in the Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza; some protesters carried Hamas banners and others burned Israeli and U.S. flags.

Afghan clerics said May 13 that they support protests against the reported flushing of the Koran at Guantanamo Bay, but also urged protesters not to use violence. In response to the attacks against police stations, government premises and various aid offices, former state president Sibghatullah Mojaddedi said the Muslim community should not attack organizations and offices that help Afghanistan.
