What Indian cricketers failed to achieve, may be will be achieved by the Soccer team of India as they get ready for upcoming Pakistan tour.

According to media reports, The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has said that it may consider playing an extra match in Karachi during the Indian football team's tour of Pakistan next month, though it is yet to receive a formal request from its Pakistan counterpart.

"We have not received any such proposal from the Pakistan Football Federation for an extra match in Karachi. But in case they ask us, I will talk to the coach (Sukhwinder Singh) when I meet him. We have an emergency meeting on May 4 during which we may discuss the matter," a wire report quoted AIFF Secretary Alberto Colaco, as saying.

Colaco also confirmed that a 20-member team would be picked for the tour of Pakistan. The first match between two countries will be staged at the Ayub Sports Complex Quetta on June 12, followed by the second at Qayyum Sports Complex in Peshawar on June 16 and the third under flood-lights at Punjab Stadium in Lahore on June 18. The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) had earlier expressed a desire to hold an additional match at Karachi on June 14.
