Sonia Chopra
Apr. 25, 2005

Al-Queda is hurt but not dead yet in Iraq. Sources from Iraq informed that Kidnappers have released Malik Mohammad Javed, an employee of the Pakistani Embassy abducted April 9 on his way to a local mosque in Baghdad, Pakistani Prime Minister Shauat Aziz said April 24.

Blasts from a roadside bomb and a suicide car bomber killed 15 people and injured 57 others near a Shiite mosque in Baghdad on April 24. U.S. and Iraqi officials have blamed the explosions near the Ahlf al-Beit mosque on Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's al-Qaeda wing.

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is still out there – hiding and operating under the cloud of hit and run mode of operations. Al-Queda has recently hit several Shiite targets which is causing major uproar from the Shiite community.

Many of al-Zarqawi’s close deputies were arrested by the US led coalition forces but souces say, their operational wings are intact and they may be regrouping.
