Indian outsourcing companies are running for cover to acquire companies abroad to compensate for falling and shaky revenues.
Satyam Computer Services of India unveiled its first-ever acquisition yesterday, the $38.7m all-cash purchase of Citisoft, a privately owned UK-based consulting firm focused on the investment management sector.
This also helps them to enter vertical segment of the markets like financial services, pharmaceuticals and others.
