Indian Airspace violated by Bangladesh Helicopters – India orders shoot at sight
Indian Border Security Force in collaboration with Indian Air Force is ready for any further violation of Indian Air space and land. India has given its military orders to shoot down any Bangladeshi planes or helicopters violating Indian border regions.
Members of India's Border Security Force (BSF) have observed Bangladeshi helicopters invading Indian airspace in the state of Tripura over the course of the past two days, the BSF inspector general for the Tripura-Mizoram border region said April 24. He further said that the helicopters could have been conducting surveillance missions, and if they appeared again, the BSF would not hesitate to fire upon them.
The escalation started when Bangladesh Rifles killed an Indian Border Security officer. They have infiltrated Indian land and air space in retaliation to India’s strong opposition to Al-Queda and similar terrorists harbored in Bangladesh especially in Tripura-Mizorum border areas.
