A secret war between Indian Government and its own Army

Indian army’s assessment indicates that in case of a full-blown conflict in the Western Command with Pakistan, critical ammunition would not last even two days.

Indian Government diverted money to other sectors and much of that is now in Swiss banks held in corrupt bank accounts of Indian ruling politicians. Indian Governme4nt secretly proclaims that no major war can break ever with China and Pakistan because of nuclear deterrent. They conjecture the real war is in terror control from Pakistan and economic war with China. Manmohan Sing's Government stand on the ground that Pakistan will never dare attack India because of it does not have Americans behind it.

Indian Army is suffering from lack of ammunition, lack of officers, and lack of modernization. Within the Army only those generals are getting promoted who are willing to keep quiet as the civilian political Government decides its own way.

The shortage of Indian Army officers emanates primarily from the growth of the Indian economy and the resulting opportunities in the private sector which promise lucrative pay packages and a comfortable life. The armed forces’ lack of operational independence due to constant political and bureaucratic interference is also a major reason that deters youth from wanting a career with the defense forces.

After Kargil war, many officers have left the Indian Army for better positions in the Indian corporate sectors. Many have even left for abroad with job offers from Indian and foreign companies.

Indian Air Force and Navy are getting extremely modernized. India plans to thwart any aggression with the help of its sophisticated Navy and Air Force.

The problem lies in something else. If in the next five years, Indian Army decides to take over the country, the coup can be devastating because the Army will fight the Air Force and Navy. At that moment, China and Pakistan can make their moves.
