Thai parliament voted to accept a draft bill amending the constitution on the electoral system of the House of Representatives, raising the number of House members to 500 with 375 coming from constituency representation and 125 from party list representation. The drafted bill also seeks to change the current multi-seat constituencies to a smaller single seat form. The sitting joint parliament will vote for approval in a third and final bill reading on Feb. 11.
