Failure of Manmohan Singh Government in Kashmir comes from a mistake of realigning India to American foreign policy requirements.

This was inevitable. This was in the coming. Today Kashmir is a nightmare for Indian Government.

Hundreds of Kashmiri protesters defied curfew and security restriction reimposed by the authorities again and attacked many police stations. Simply put situation is out of control.

Has India promised America an independent Kashmir? Otherwise why should the Government of Manmohan Singh continuously make strategic blunders in Jammu and Kashmir?

Perhaps the mistake was in trying to realigning Indian domestic policies to accommodate American need in Afghanistan and against Queda and Taliban by satisfying Pakistani ambition in Kashmir.
