Will life forms again have to reboot from the beginning like it happened 250 million years back due to Gulf of Mexico's ruptured sea bed and resulting devastation from Methane Gas release?

The Mayans wrote about something cataclysmic happening in 2012. But they left it vague.

The Pacific ocean has the ring of fire that engulfs the colliding plates causing massive Tsunamis, volcanoes and earthquakes.

The BP disaster in the Gulf is significant. Some scientists believe it just the tip of the iceberg. The sea bed is rising die to methane build up below the sea bed. The Pacific rim and the rest of the world is experiencing severe exponential expansion of underwater volcanoes that is erupting at an alarming level. On top that there are signs of unusual plate movements in the ares of the world prone to severe deep faults in the earth's crust.

Yellow Stone national Park in America can also release enormous level of methane into the atmosphere. The main methane sources are BP's deep wells in the gulf, the Pacific Rim instabilities, the underwater volcanoes, and areas of thin crust on the earth's surfaces.
