Obama Administration's biggest mistake - allowing Karzai to continue commanding the puppet regime in Afghanistan, Abdullah withdraws from Afghan vote

Nov. 1, 2009

This may have sealed the fate of Afghanistan. American has fallen into the same ditch as the Soviets did in eighties allowing puppet regime to run a gimmick adminsitartion in Kabul. Abdullah withdraws from Afghan vote.
Former Foreign Minister Abdullah Abdullah reluctantly announced his decision to quit six days before the runoff election, after last-minute talks led by the U.S. and United Nations failed to produce a power-sharing agreement acceptable to Karzai.
In an emotional speech, Abdullah told supporters that he could not accept an runoff led by the same Karzai-appointed election commission that managed the fraud-marred vote in August. The runoff was set for Nov. 7 after U.N.-backed auditors annulled nearly a third of Karzai's votes as fakes.
"I will not participate in the Nov. 7 election," Abdullah said, because a "transparent election is not possible."
This may be the biggest mistake by the Obama Administration. The hsitory has repeated. The Soviets in 1980s did the same mistake in allowing a puppet regime to control the Kabul Adminsitration while the rest of Afghanistan was controlled by war lords and rebels who cared little about the foreign forces and the puppet regime in the downtown of the Afghan capital.
