Iran’s Uranium Tour Insufficient : U.S. - Iran making big mistake, it should come out clean before time runs out
Iran is again making the same mistake that Saddam did in nineties. They should just dismantle the nukes and come out clean before time runs out. Neither China nor Russia will eventually save them. They are also in the process of irritating the European Union and that can be devastating.
According to a media report, the United States said on that the guided tour given by Iranian President Mohammed Khatami to some 30 journalists of its underground uranium enrichment facility at Natanz was a theatrical performance. A U.S. State Department spokesman said the Iranian move did not meet the demands of the international community. He added that Tehran should be answering questions from the International Atomic Energy Agency about the true nature of its activities at the facilities in Natanz, Parchin and Lavasan.
Iran can face a serious naval blockade with serious trade boycott from many countries strategic to its interests. For example, India will go ahead with its plan of Gas pipeline unless Iran cleans itself up from the nuke issue.
It is time for Pakistan, India, China and Russia explain to Iran that they should really comply with the International Atomic Energy Agency requirements.
