The shortfall for the 12 months ended Sept. 30 was more than triple the $455 billion record set a year earlier, the Treasury Department said today in Washington.

The budget deficit has oushed gold into new price territory above $1000 per ounce. It is impacting on US Dollar badly. the dollar has 10% of its in a very short span of time.
