Indian Finance Minster confident of attaining 6 per cent economic growth

Finance Minster Pranab Mukherjee on Friday said that the country would attain 6 per cent economic growth despite sluggish monsoon and drought like situation.
India is striking back in IT outsourcing, and exports in general.
Mukherjee said higher government spending had paid dividends in improving factory output. Meanwhile, admitting that the fiscal deficit was high, Mukherjee hoped it would reduce in a phased manner.
