and some sort of a set back for America. The ongoing power struggle between Russia and America in oil rich Cental Asia is spectacular. Kyrgyzstan is a country surrounded by oil and gas rich Uzbekistan, Kazakastan, other central Asian countries and China. Afghanistan’s northern borders are not too far. It is a strategic location for a cold war influence between Russia, America and China.

Interestingly, days after US President Barack Obama completed his visit to Moscow, a senior Russian officials travelled to Bishkek to negotitate for the creation of a new Russian base.

Russia is eager to counter any American presence in its surroundings. The oil rich central Asia is critical for both Russia and America.
