Five Indian police commandos suspended for extorting money from Manipur civilians

When cops violate rules, they should be prosecuted to the maximum extent. There is no excuse for any police authrity to resort to these tactics of extortion in any part of the world. Indian commandos had forcibly taken away money and mobile phones from civilians in Manipur.

Indian authorities did the right thing in suspending these cops and security personnel. Unlike the Western nations where cops get away with racism and setting up cases, India prosecutes its security personnel for vilation of rules and the law.
