Unemployment rate for June may have climbed towards 10%, loss of Nonfarm Payrolls increased in June
Fred Day
Jun. 28, 2009

The unemployment picture continues to worsen, although far less drastically than a few months back. The stimulus money is working to stabilize the economy but things do not look that great.

Unemployment rate for June may have climbed towards 10%, loss of Nonfarm Payrolls increased in June again. The payrolls report will show manufacturers slashed workers this month. The job reductions, layoffs, and plant shutdowns persists, reflecting the fallout from the bankruptcies of major US corporations.

The biggest threat is healthcare costs. Small companies are the major backbone of US corporations. That is where the biggest pain is. The Republicans who should have represented the small businesses, worked for the lobbyists and large corporations. The Democrats do not understand the pain of small business risk takers. America is helpless today because the politicians and the economic system failed.
