UP Government decided to invoke NSA against Varun. Well that is indicting the mother India. National Security Act against BJP Pilibhit candidate Varun Gandhi has changed Indian politics for now. The air is filled with the smell of Hindutva in UP and the rest of India.

The Government and the legal branch of Governance are determined to undermine the aspiration of Hindus in India. Pilibhit district magistrate has sent a report, vetted by the police chief, to the Mayawati government, saying Varun's supporters held the entire town to ransom. There was complete chaos and BJP activists attacked government officials on duty, and destroyed public property, the DM's report says.

The deliberate manner in which Varun courted arrest in full view of the media, the unapologetic way in which he claimed to have done nothing wrong and his mother Maneka Gandhi's allegation that a Muslim police officer had injured 25 of his supporters may have set the new tone in Indian politics. By the end of the day, there were signs that Varun was being fashioned as the latest poster boy of Hindutva. ‘Vande Ma Taram’ is the chant of the day. Varun is the new hero of India no matter what establishment wants to portray.
