Biden surprises Pakistan with warrant on Osama Bin Laden
The statement was blunt. Pakistan is on the watch.
"I can say that the President of the United States said during his campaign and in the debates that if there is an actionable target, of a high-level al-Qaeda personnel, that he would not hesitate to use action to deal with that," the Vice-President said in a TV interview. His statement was blunt and direct to Pakistan, the nemesis of terrorism in the whole world.
Biden was responding to a question referring to the latest US missile attack inside the tribal regions of Pakistan and if these attacks were approved by Obama or if he would continue with the Bush Administration's policy in this regard.
"I can''t speak to any particular attack. I can''t speak to any particular action. It's not appropriate for me to do that," Biden said and then referred to the famous "actionable intelligence" statement made by Obama during campaign days.
Obama Administration, unlike the Bush Administration is making it clear to Pakistan that is no scope of any kind of terror activities in the East, West, South, or North of the nation. Terrorism has to stop. Pakistan military has to take a back seat and Pakistan has to de-enlist itself from the status of rogue country.
