Saudis plan to spend $1 billion to rebuild Gaza – how about influencing America to not let Israelis kill innocent Palestinian civilians and block their livelihood?
"Israel has to understand that the choice between war and peace will not always stay open and that the Arab peace initiative that is on the table today will not stay on the table” said King Abdullah during a speech.
The Saudi king said Monday his country will donate $1 billion to help rebuild the Gaza Strip after the devastating Israeli offensive and told Israel that an Arab initiative offering peace will not remain on the table forever.
Throwing $1 billion to the dying Palestinians is easy when you have trillions of petro- dollars. But what matters most is bringing in the sense of respect for the common Palestinian civilians, the mothers, the daughters, the sons, and the fathers.
Israel could have carried on the atrocities without support from America. They take their marching orders from Brooklyn, NY. Brooklyn, NY controls Washington politics whether it is the Bush or Clinton or Obama Administration. That is where the Saudis should focus. Instead of throwing a few bones to the half dead, Saudis should influence the American Administration to stop killing innocent people of the world, whether in Iraq, Palestine, or elsewhere.
