Iran flexes its political influence through Iraqi Shiites – Bush backed off from allowing Israel to bomb Iran’s nuke sites
You can never underestimate the evil political influence of Iran. They have continually fooled the American neo cons. They ousted Saddam through false information and planting their agents in Washington to influence Bush Administration in invading Iraq.
They have also used the Iraqi Shiites in the Iraqi puppet regime to influence Bush Administration in not allowing Israel to Bomb Teheran’s nuclear installations.
President George W. Bush rejected a plea from Israel last year to help it raid Iran's main nuclear complex, opting instead to authorize a new U.S. covert action aimed at sabotaging Iran's suspected nuclear weapons program.
The Iranian strategic political game has far surpassed that of any other country. They have India and Pakistan on their side. They have blocked US Security Council resolutions against them through their influence on China and Russia. They used agents to make America attack Iraq. Now they use their agents in the Iraqi Government to block US from sectioning Israel bomb unlawful nuclear installations in Iran.
Israel's request was for specialized bunker-busting bombs that it wanted for an attack that tentatively involved flying over Iraq to reach Iran's major nuclear complex at Natanz, where the country's only known uranium enrichment plant is located, The White House deflected requests for the bombs and flyover but said it would improve intelligence-sharing with Israel on covert U.S. efforts to sabotage Iran's nuclear program.
